Just for fun, I decided to compare the default bookmarks in Safari 6 with the previous version.
Safari 6
Apple
iCloud
Facebook
Twitter
Wikipedia
Yahoo!
News
Safari 5
Apple
Yahoo!
Google Maps
YouTube
Wikipedia
News
What is immediately obvious is that all Google sites are gone (Maps, News, YouTube).
New York Times (previously one of Steve's favourite sites, before they reported on Foxconn working conditions and Apple's tax evasion) is replaced with always Apple-favorable WSJ and AllThingsD.
And Facebook is promoted out of a folder to a third place after Apple home page and iCloud.
Isn't it amusing how the new default bookmarks reflect the changes in Apple's relationships with other companies?
