Hello boys, I have Safari 7.1.8 on Mavericks 10.9.5 with no extensions installed. Usually when I play html5 videos on different websites everything is fine, but very often Safari leaks memory, fills RAM and starts using swap making the whole computer slow and unresponsive. When I quit Safari it frees RAM and everyhing goes back to normal.

I am aware that during playing html5 videos Safari uses RAM and clears it all the time, this is visible in the Activity Monitor. However it seems to me that when this bug happens, Safari do not clears RAM while playing - it just fills it.

This is happening randomly on different websites and different videos. Sometimes the same video works fine, sometimes it just randomly leak memory.

Any ideas?
