Hi, in Safari, the serach bar and the url share the same bar, bt often when I try to o a search, the search safari turn the phrase into a url, for example, if I search "yummy food" it turns the phrase into "yummy%20food" The space is replaced by the %20 UTF-8 encoding, why is that?

Its how special characters are encoded in URLs. However, it should not really convert a search string to URL. On my machine, 'yummy food' opens google search. Are you saying that its not the case with your Safari?
