OK, so, on my Mac, I open Safari, the homepage opens fine. I click a bookmark:

Safari can't find server.

I reload.

Safari can't find server.

I try another bookmark.

Safari can't find server.

I do a Google search for 'bananas'. The page loads. I click any link.

Safari can't find server.

I shut down. I restart. I open Safari. I click a bookmark or do a search.

Safari can't find server.

Totally random website.

Loads fine.

I try a new tab. Click a random bookmark.

Safari can't find server.

I try History.

Safari can't find server.

I get out my iPad. I open Safari on iOS 8.1.

Everything is fine.

I go to a friends house with my iPad. I connect to his wifi network.

Safari can't find server.

I take my Mac to a friends house. I connect to her wifi network.

Everything works fine.

It is totally random. Sometimes Safari 8 works on my Mac at home, sometimes not. Sometimes it works on a different network. Sometimes not. Sometimes my iPad works at home. Sometimes not. Sometimes my iPad works at a friend's house, sometimes not.

Totally random. And only since upgrading to iOS 8 on the iPad and Yosemite with Safari 8 on the Mac.

Anyone out there? Because this time Safari found MacRumors. I don't know when I'll be back.
