Safari 8 for Mavericks?

Hello,

Anyone have any idea whether Safari 8 is likely to be available for Mavericks in the future or will users be required to upgrade to Yosemite?

I'm certain it will be, but their may be some features missing that require 10.10.

Well, in previous releases the .X were the upgrades that paralleled the next OS. For example, Safari 6.1 for Mountain Lion parallels advances in Safari 7. However, Safari 7.1 was just released and it was suppose to parallel Safari 8, but in my opinion it doesn't. I find Safari 7.1 buggy and doesn't support the animations that Safari 8 does.
