So im using Safari as I never used it before cuz I was PC guy and used FireFox.
I noticed when im in my gmail and lets say I get an email from macrumors saying a reply to one of my topics. I click the email to open up and then I can click the link to macrumors and it redirects me to my topic. The problem im having is every time I get an email, does not matter where from, but I click the link inside the email and a new safari window opens up? I would like the link to open up in another tab next to my tabs up in the safari browser? How can I change this? I tried searching through preferences and yes I do have the option clicked which... Open links from applications: In a new tab in the current window (This applys to emails, ichat, etc.)
So why is this still acting up?

Would u guys say best to switch over and use firefox? or install firefox on my Mac?

Does anyone know if Safari has an feature like likification in firefox?

Thanks!

To force new windows to open in tabs in Safari, in Terminal, type:
defaults write com.apple.Safari TargetedClicksCreateTabs -bool true

Using Safari Prefrences

Seems like you can do the same thing by clicking on:
Safari/Preferences/Tabs and checking Command-click opens a link in a new tab
