Can anybody help? Up until recently I used to open safari's activity monitor (cmd-alt-a) and double click on a video or sound file to save it on my computer (that action would download/save the file into my downloads folder). I find that this is impossible now with safari on lion - safari just opens a new page, plays the file via quicktime and does not allow me to save the file.

Anybody else having the same issue? Can this behaviour be modified?

many thanks!

That's Option-double-click. Are you holding the Option key down? For others reading this thread, it's the Activity Window in Safari, not to be confused with Activity Monitor, which is a different app.
