which one is better? I am using safari adblock now, but i've read that it slows safari down. is anyone using glimmerblocker?

Just tested out GlimmerBlocker and it seems very useful but just too convoluted for me. SafariBlock has a little panel in Safari preferences and GlimmerBlocker has 6 different sections in its preference pane in System Preferences. It depends on how much you value simplicity.
