safari, adium, msn, skype will not open- help!??!

hi,

I recently tried to update Safari on my computer (Ibook G4).

It didnt work (i think the new version of safari is not compatable with my OS)

I can not seem to reupload Safari. it will not open. i have tried downloading different versions of it as well.

After this happened, adium, msn and skype no longer work.

If anyone can help it would be great!

open -a adium
in terminal doesn't work?

im not sure what logs are. sorry!

i have tried deleting all files related to skype- and reuploading- but nothing works. The icon pops up on the tool bar, and then just dissappears - same thing with safari, msn and adium.
