I have to give apple their props with fixing safari in the newest update. Safari hasn't crashed on me at all since I updated to 2.2.1. I'm on my phone about 5 hrs a day while at work (we don't have computers that I can acess) Mon- fri. My phone used to crash all the time w/2.2 and now with 2.2.1 it's been working flawless for me, has any one had the same results as me?

Pages cache better and no crashes here either :)

The positives never get the same publicity :/

I've posted it before also. Safari has yet to crash on me. Used to be 10 or 20 times a day. Even on Apples own site it crashed. I just hope whatever update comes up they don't screw up Safari again.

Safari looks faster when restarting it's using pages in cache. Terrible that tabs are loaded everytime that switched,, and even worse, may not load from cache (so tabing is terrible on edge)
Also textarea seems more responsive but the select tool (hold and drag finger on text) is less responsive

Appears that optimizations comes and goes like the cat-rat game or Minimax algorithms

As well - if you refresh a page and scroll before it has all loaded (say it has loaded half the page, and you scroll down to something) once it finishes loading it takes you back to the top regardless.

Really irritating.

As I said in another thread, I usually have the problems stated (or someone I know) yet I never knew a single person having Safari crashes before this update

Seemed very solid to me
