Safari and 'allowing cookies'

Anyone have an issue whereby Safari never seems to remember when you have selected to 'allow cookies' on certain websites?

If so, do you know a fix? I find it so annoying to have to keep 'allowing' everytime I go on websites I visit daily

When you allow cookies on a site (I assume you mean using whatever banner they have), the site writes a cookie to your machine, and revisiting that site checks for that cookie. It isn't safari itself thats allowing it or denying it.

If a site keeps prompting, then it might be because you cleared your cookies? Or you have some extension that might be interfering with it, or you use private mode.

I have the same problem. It seems to have gotten way worse recently and I have no idea why.
