Safari and Apple.com not playing well together?

I have a bit of a weird one, my Macbook Pro's Safari doesn't seem to like Apple.com - it'll display it fine, but it won't display any of the overlays (like quicktime videos, images etc, it'll just give me some HTML/open a new tab with the picture or some text in) I've given it a bit of a google - but I have no idea what's going on!
