Hi

What is the expected browsing hours you should get on a brand new iPhone 7?

I honestly feel like I lose 1% of charge per minute of screen time while using Safari, this would translate to a dead battery within a couple of hours of just browsing.

That just doesn't seem right. Why is Safari being such a battery hog?

I did one of those battery wear tests and mine is showing as 0% wear. I had the same problem with the iphone 6s that I used previously too

Anyone else with the same problem? I have now had to take a cable into work because, on the way to work on the train, just browsing casually for 10-15 minutes results in me arriving to work with already 15-20% drained and it isn't even 9am yet...

Are you connected to the Internet via Wi-Fi or 3G/LTE? In the case of the latter, these can really drain battery.

3G/LTE - but I am sure that previous android phones that I owned never experienced a drain like this. I am running out of battery early afternoon, never experienced this before - and I am not even watching video's or anything. Just browsing websites.
