Hi Guys

Have noticed on all 3 of my Macs the same problem with the same website.
I can browse the BMW site as you would expect but when I try to use the car configurator the page/configurator refuses to load or work.
By the look of the page it appears that the configurator uses some sort of Java foundation (hence the coffee cup looking thing).

its at this link
http://ecom.bmwgroup.com/ecom32/GB/...22&selectedOptions=&random=0.3339655764177595

Does anyone else have this problem?

many thanks

ps alternatively if the above link doesnt work then just go to the following link and click build your car in the top left hand side
http://www.bmw.co.uk/bmwuk/modelrange/0,4629,1156_1484__bs-Nw%3D%3D%40bb-N0xJ,00.html

Doesn't really work right in Firefox or Camino for me. I guess it works a little better in Camino, but it's screwed up in both of them. I no longer have any Windows machines, so I can't test it in IE.

EDIT: I forgot about Virtual PC. In IE6 in Windows 2000 in VPC, I was able to access the site fine. Looks like an example of bad website design.

EDIT2: OK, so I just tried it in Opera. It works fine. Looks like the solution is to download Opera for the Mac, and use that.

BMW doesn't support Safari. Had a long time ago a banner up that mentioned to Safari users that they should use Firefox. I guess by now they don't care anymore.
