so I love Mac bigsur everything is very quick and responsive ,except safari ,,for some reason I have chrome running a lot snappier and quicker than safari ..when surfing the web with safari I a message saying the page is using significant memory and I get a huge slowdown..ive emptied cache and cookies and restarted it but still not as quick as chrome..any thoughts ?

I love Safari also, but I've been so used to using Chrome for years!

Also I think Chrome did do a big update this past week, which does make it faster, MUCH less of a RAM hog. It may have updated while I was sleeping (current Version 87.0.4280.67 - looks like the new version on my end), I didn't manually update this.

So far it does feel faster on Sierra, this ancient iMac. :)
