Safari and Flash

Is there any way to find out if a website uses Flash for banners or w/e when using Safari? (other than the fan going crazy, of course).
Or better yet, can I disable it somehow? It's hugely annoying having the fan speed approach 4k rpm when I enter a website..

Try ClickToFlash

EDIT oh fudge. I didn't know that Safari 5.1 dropped support for WebKit plugins. Oh well.

I am running ClickToPlugin (from the ClickToFlash people), and have been on Safari 5.1 and now 5.1.1.

ClickToPlugin gives control over more plugins than just Flash, and more options, and it has a nicely available settings panel (right-click on any web page for the menu).
