anyone else suddenly having an onslaught of ads from google--clearly I have picked up a safari case of the crabs --not sure where or what or I would address it--clearly it is from google and my guess is it is somehow triggered by gmail but damn I hate to spend two three days chasing this crap- damn I hate google and all that goes with it. thnx

Perhaps you should see whether your ad blocker is up-to-date. Adblock Plus also happens to show “acceptable ads” by default, which might be what these are. If this doesn’t work, you might also want to look for another ad blocker (I personally use Adguard and haven’t seen those ads).
 
yah it is a suddenly thing must have piggy backed on something i pulled down. thanks but it is tough looking it up=== hundreds of gobbly gook pages justifying its presence to surveil us.
 
Have you tried Malwarebytes? It may pick out (and remove) adware that you might have picked up somewhere.
 
The "New" safari Pisses me off big Time!! :mad:

ETA: I'm on my windows machine now-so no adverts for me!! :D
