Safari and Keychain Issue

Is anyone else having an issue where usernames and passwords that you ask to be stored - aren't be stored? It's getting very annoying to me and while I don't want to have to give up Safari, I'm starting to want to.

Is anyone else having this problem? Or is there a common cause/fix?
