Hey I have a few questions about OpenDNS. My Safari browser won't connect to the internet anymore, nor will any of my Dashboard Apps. Firefox works fine, but that's it.

I've had people suggest using OpenDNS to fix this, but is there any security issues involved?

Thanks!

First try flushing your DNS cache

Failing that, giving OpenDNS a try couldn't hurt. I'm using it straight from my Aiport Extreme and it works great. OpenDNS would never be able to record any information except for which domains you visited (eg macrumors.com) and even so they seem to be a reputable company. They were recently endorsed by David Pogue from the New York Times.
