Safari/App store deleted on iPad 2 on iOS 5.0.1

My grandson was playing on my iPad the other day and managed to delete the safari and app store app. I thought that these were un-deletable apps because they come pre-loaded but I guess I'm wrong! I looked in all my folders and they weren't there. Any advice on how to get them back?

They are undeletable. Make sure they haven't been disabled in the Settings>General>Restrictions and also search for them with Spotlight.

Try Spotlight and check to see if they were moved to another page where you don't see them.
