Safari app taking up a lot of storage space.

The safari app never used to grow in any previous versions of iOS but since iOS 11 the app keeps growing in size. My safari app is currently taking up about 500 mb of storage. You can delete “website data” and “offline reading list” but that’s only ever a small portion of the app size. For example right now my app is taking up 500 mb but “website data” only shows 80 mb and offline reading list shows 0. Anyone else have this issue?
