Safari Auto-Click problem

Auto-click is a brilliant idea - one click opens a set of bookmarks in tabs. BUT it opens them in tabs which I have already got other pages open on! So I lose whatever I was looking at before.

Is there a way of forcing auto-click to open in NEW tabs. Even a terminal hack?
