Hi all,
I was trying to add a filetype to the safaris safe file list so that it would directly open to the target software.
Used something similar to this:
http://www.corewerkz.com/2009/04/12/safari-open-torrent-files-automatically-after-downloading/

the only difference is, I dont have any folder "YourUserName/Library/Preferences"
i have put it in "Macintosh HD/Library/preferences/"

in my case, i am trying to download *.enw files and want endnote to open them as soon as they are downloaded. but nothing changes. the files are still downloading in the designated folder but endnote doesnt do anything.

one of the users in the above webpage says this:

"open transmission, go to preferences> transfers
select the last option….”Auto add: Watch for torrent files in:"

which i have no idea about. where can I find this option?

thanks for your time
