Safari autoplay

Does anyone know how to stop videos from playing automatically on websites like Facebook, youtube, Nbcnews etc?
I have tried to enable click to enable plugin but that hasn't worked. I also tried a few plugins with the same result.

Any help would be awesome

I think it's host side controlled, the iPhone has the same issue, which is a annoying if you want to look at site or Facebook and videos play automatically when you pay for data.
