When I go to apple.com, or anything within
their site, most of the links don't go to a
page, they start downloading a document.
Like when I click on the link to info about
the Macbook Pro, it downloads a document
called "macbookpro" but doesn't go to any
webpage. The document is 6.6kb. Anyone
else have this problem?

I am using Safari 1.0.3 (v85.8.1) on
OS X 10.2.8 on my iMac G4.

I quit Safari and restarted it, but the problem
persists. I am going to restart the computer
now. Hopefully that works. Has anyone else
ever seen this before?

---edit--- I restarted the computer and the
problem seems to be gone. Is there something
I can do as a permanent fix if this happens in
the future? Something I can do without having
to restart the computer?

Nope! :)

It wasn't saving HTML pages anyway.
It was saving documents that open
like the Apple webpage in TextEdit,
but they didn't have the .html extension.

I've never even heard of this happening
before, and I was very confused.
