In Safari 5, the blue loading bar is back! I am overjoyed! :D

It's a little wierd to get that exited about a UI change, but I feel like I'm reuniting with a long lost friend.

Rationally, I think I like the blue bar because when a page finishes to load, the whole address bar turns from blue to white, a very noticeable signal. I often start reading while the page loads, so the blue-to-white "flash" is easily registered by my peripheral vision.

Safari 4's purple/gray rectangle was much harder to notice, causing me to shift my focus between the content and the address bar. Now, I can concentrate on the content and let my peripheral vision tell me when the loading is done. Much more relaxing.

Why do you the blue bar? Discuss.

I think it's more noticeable having a blue bar rather than the small loading box in Safari 4. You can see more easily that a page is loading. It's neat.

I like to see the progress of the page rendering if there is any progress. Rather than just a little box saying "Processing" (I think that's what Safari 4 said, I put it clean out of my memory)
