I just had to reinstall Safari on my MBP. Now when I go to my bookmarks list, it is a list of globes instead of the various site icons. I have visited numerous sites on my list but they refuse to change. How to I change the icons from globes to the site icons?

Thanks for your help.

when you VISIT those sites, do the icons then change? that's what worked for me (after a reinstall).

the icons in the bookmarks folder were all globes UNTIL i visited those pages.

if that's NOT it, make sure you can add new bookmarks or...check that that bookmarks.plist (in Home>Library>Safari) isn't locked...

or try repairing permissions...
