How can I export my Safari bookmarks to a page of Html links so I could put that file on my thumb drive.

I could then take all my bookmarks with me when I travel for business. I could put the thumb drive in and copy the file to my work laptop or just use it from the thumb drive.

I've seen this done on a PC not sure if you can do it on the mac.

Thanks

Click on 'Show all bookmarks'. From there you can drag and drop any bookmark or folder of bookmarks directly to your thumb drive. They will be 'web location' files.

I can do this but will they become a HTML file which I could use with my work PC with a browser of FireFox?

check out versiontracker.com for an app called safari bookmark exporter and that will do it for you
