I have 11.0.2 and running on 10.13.2. This is on a late 2013 21.5 iMac.

My age and eyesight are having a bad time with the small fonts, with no adjustability, in these areas. Making it worse is the subtle gray background which blends rather than contrasts.

Have talked with Apple support and they have nothing, "it is what it is".

Is there any known extension or workaround to solve either of both issues.

Thanks

It would be easier to help you with this if you provide what Mac you're using or which monitor you have? Small fonts are directly related to screen resolution. The higher the resolution, the smaller the screen fonts will be. There are ways to increase the size of screen fonts. And by using the options available in System Preferences, Accessibility, you can increase contrast among other things.

Thanks and added the iMac info. I also just dropped it to 1600 x 900 resolution and that helped almost too much in the opposite direction. Almost like I need a 1/2 step on resolution but it is better than before.
Adjusted contrast in Accessibility. That also helped.
I appreciate your suggestions and can live with it this way.
