I just upgraded my iPad tonight, and I was using iOS 6. I liked the permanent bookmarks bar at the top of iOS 6 Safari. It was one tap and you got to your website. Now it seems like I have to tap the bookmark icon, tap the link, and then tap the bookmark icon to get the menu off. Is there a way to return to the old set up?

Yes, if you go into settings, tap on Safari and scroll down, you will see an option “Show Favorites Bar”, toggle that on. There you go!

What XeroAllusion said works for regular bookmarks.

Once set, when you tab on the address bar/box, a drop-down window appears with the bookmarks. Navigate accordingly.

Thanks for your reply. I guess I could've figured that out myself.

At first, it was just a blank bar, until I realized I had to put everything in the favorites folder.
