Safari Bookmarks Disappear After Using Firefox

When ever I open and use Firefox, and then open Safari afterwards all my book marks dissappear. How do I stop this? I run an APP for work that is not stable on Safari so I use Firefox. Prefer Safari for rest. Please advise.

I use Safari now and then, rest of the time 50% Firefox and 50% Google Chrome. I've never seen any interference between the browsers.

Do you have any addons for either Safari or Firefox?

What version of OSx, Safari, and Firefox are you using?
