Safari Bookmarks

Is there any way to tell Safari to sort my bookmarks by type and alphabetical order?

I try right clicking or looking everywhere to see if this can be done. So far, I have found none.

By type/alphabetical order I want Safari to just put Folders in alphabetical order then put regular bookmarks.

I know Saft allows you to sort bookmarks... probably other 3rd party plug-ins/scripts/apps/hacks, too...

But I'm guessing that I can't do with Safari itself? If I can't then why didn't Apple include this basic feature?

I hope the next build release this feature.

don't expect too much on that apple's speed of adding anything to safari is unbelievably slow, if ever happens.

It easier for you to use a plugin (any other free stuff rather than saft can do this?), or try other browser. Safari isn't famous for its functionality after all.

I use Bookdog, but it is shareware.

You can drag bookmarks to the order you want, butthat would be pretty tedious. I use Bookdog -- alphabetizes,cleans up and a whole lot more. Worth what I paid.
