Not sure what the deal is, all of the DPs worked just fine for this task, but ever since installing Sierra GM on both my rMacbook Pro (2015 maxed model), and 2015 iMac (middle config), Safari has been AWFUL.
- When clicking a link that opens a new tab, it basically opens a new tab identical to whatever is on the existing tab for a brief moment, then goes blank for a brief moment, then loads the page. Seems utterly a step backward.
- When filling out replies on facebook walls or other text entry (ie subject line on Macrumors), there is a 2-10 second (yeah, significant) lag in pressing a key and that character showing up on the screen. I've clean installed, I've reset the PRAM and reset Safari and there's no clutter left that'd cause it. And it really only happens on single-line text entry boxes, I don't get it what would cause that. Several times as I'm typing it even beach-balls, which makes me think something is going on. Chrome and Firefox don't have the issue.
Any suggestions or if you figured out what's causing it please share!
