safari bounces once and then non responsive due to hang

wont open, i downgraded.. i upgraded to the developers preview.. downgraded again, each with restart.. tried just a shutdown..

i click, bounces once.. then unresponsive... nothing opens..

i click "send error form" and the form says "hang"

firefox sucks, can anyone help?
