I use Chrome as my main browser but have MobileMe to sync my iDevice bookmarks.

What I'd love to find is some background process that can sync the bookmarks between Chrome and Safari at the local level on my computer. I would like to avoid yet another cloud syncing program and have had problems with Xmarks and Chrome.

xmarks - is fantastic will sync from chrome/firefox to safari

Just install the plugins for FF/chrome and then download the xmark plugin for safari. Simple, reliable and fast!

download here:

xmark difficulty

I have Xmarks syncing with two laptops, each one with IE, FF & Chrome, both running Vista HP 32.
I have installed Safari ( 5.0.5) but I am not seeing the Xmarks icon nor can I get the folders to appear.
The bookmarks bar is in view.
From what I understand Vista 32 should be compatible with Safari\Xmarks yes?

What am I missing?
