At work we have Windows machines with Chrome for the browser. While looking at extensions I installed Fasterfox for Chrome which has a nifty feature of loading the 'next' page of an article or forum thread below the current page so you can just keep scrolling down through the pages.

Is anything like this available for the current version of Safari?

Yes, if you check out the new sidebar in Safari and browse Shared Links (essentially links shared on your Twitter timeline) it let's you use accelerated scrolling.
 
Thanks, I already know about the shared links thing, but want that kind of behaviour, for instance, browsing multipage threads on this forum.
