hello, i'm basically a newish mac user, and have devoted myself to using safari, since firefox 2 runs like rubbish for some reason. I have run into a little annoying problem. Basically none of my cookies work in safari. On every forum i go to, i have to re-enter my login, even though i clicked save as cookie. any thoughts?

Check the Security pane in your Safari Preferences. Mine is set like this and I have no problems with cookies.

Your login details for websites, as well as all manner of other passwords and stuff, are stored in a program called Keychain located in your utilities folder (in the applications folder). So you could check that this is all present and correct.

There's also an option in the Safari preferences under 'Autofill' that says whether Safari will remember and fill in stuff - make sure this is checked.
