Safari Cookies and Cache

Has anyone notices with Safari 4 if you clear the cache and the cookies that sites that you log into are still logged in? For example this site. I clear my cache and cookies but when when I come back here after restarting my browser I am still logged in. Has anyone noticed this? If so any ideas on how to fix it?

Well I tried the process again and now it is working. I think I might have taken Safari closing itself and opening itself. This time I clicked on Safari and went to quit. So that did the trick. Thanks
