safari copy-paste issue

Our school has hundreds of iPads upgraded to ios5 so we are constantly finding little things to work around on the web, however this one is new and strange. Our students use "Son of Citation Machine" at citationmachine.net/ to complete citations for research, then they copy and paste the results into their word processing. On an ios5 iPad the copy paste doesn't work. If we test this on an ios 4.3 machine there is no problem copying and pasting the text results.
Anyone else run into this issue?

Try adding to the "Reading List" under Bookmarks and see is you can copy-paste from there. Never tried it myself.
