Lots of complaints on MacRumors, but have you folks tried to reboot your iPad or iPhone? I do this when I first notice app-crashes (after upgrading to 7.0.4) and the crashes disappear. RAM usage plays an important part in the OS experience just as RAM had had with desktop devices, and resets can go a long way to "clear the cache," so to speak.

done it all, it is what it is. i chose to deal with it and not whine about it anymore. lol

I have only had two Safari crashes on my Air and owned it from the first day it was introduced. Kinda a non-issue to me but others are really upset. Hoping 7.1 will go a long way to getting their problems solved.

Not just Safari. Facebook, chrome, etc... Crash can occur on any app. More so on safari cuz that is what many people use to surf the web. Many believe is memory management on iOS 7.

Yeah, all Air users are pretty much in the same boat. Whether they know it or not. At least Apple's web traffic numbers are soaring after the Air/rMini release.

what do you mean by all ipad air user are in the same boat ? i got a ipad air in black from walmart and i have not have not one crash with my ipad air

Go find a site withe embedded videos.
Scroll down as soon as the page starts loading.
Report back.

That, and the safari tab reloads are why I mentioned the "whether they know it or not".

I use 1-3 tops. Sometimes, I'll have one tab open, click a link and it'll crash immediately.

Now I can generally fix it for a few hours by restarting and making sure all my apps are closed, but that kinda flies in the face of the "it just works" mantra.

I'm very frustrated with the tab reloading issue. If I have to fill out a form where I need to switch between two tabs to copy information, I put down my iPad and go over to my computer because I am tired of having everything wiped away when the tab reloads.

I just haven't had any issues with this. I don't get to a point where I have ten tabs open at once but 3-4 is fairly common. I visit all kinds of sites, some heavy and some light. Not saying there isn't an issue here, just saying that it's not happening to every single user. Or, like you said, it's happening and we just don't know it. ;)

You don't need 10 tabs open. I can to any number of message boards that allow you to post embedded Youtube(others as well) videos. WITH ONE TAB, if i go to a thread wih embedded videos, and scroll down the page quickly the second the page comes up(still images of the videos have not yet loaded on the page), I can crash safari nearly every time.

So I now have to navigate message boards by going to a thread, waiting 10+ seconds, then scrolling down.

Poor user experience, and I can see people subconsciously adjusting to flies that minimize the blowups. Then claiming that safari doesn't blow up as much over time.

I mention "not knowing", only because I'm sure that there are LOTS of users who have tabs refreshing, and NOT knowing that is a bad thing.

It doesn't need 10 tabs open for safari to crash or reload the page. It can happen with one tab.

Memory lagging issue

Safari crashes when it has a high Byte page, like one with videos or a long Disqus thread, particularly if you a replying. If you don't pause at the end of every line to wait for the screen reformat it will crash, sometimes all the way out to a reboot.

Far too easy to write faster than the memory can page with a resultant crash.
