safari crashes all the time

I run a mac book pro 10.5.7

almost all the time when i start typing safri crashes ....

thoughts please..

If it crashes when you begin typing, try removing the com.apple.Safari.plist file from Users/YOURUSERNAME/Library/Preferences.

Also, try resetting Safari and clearly all of the cache files.

If it crashes when you begin typing, try removing the com.apple.Safari.plist file from Users/YOURUSERNAME/Library/Preferences.

Do that when Safari is not open. Then open Safari. That will create a new plist file with default settings.

I also forgot to mention , it also often crashes when i am playing video streams for no reason atall, ??? can I re install safari ? or download it again from the apple web site ? would that help?????

You can reinstall Safari from Apple's Safari page.

As for the video stream crashing, Flash on Safari is not that good, and it will crash some times.
