Anyone else noticing that Safari crashes a lot more since upgrading since 4.2? Ever since I upgraded it will crash every few minutes, sometimes more frequently. It's making Safari almost unusable.

safari crashes

I did notice initially after the upgrade that Safari was running very slow and then freezing completely when trying to use it, regardless of what site I was on. I power cycled my IPad and have had no issues since.

I've noticed it most frequently on the weather site www.wunderground.com. It happens on almost every page.

Wunderground is absolutely terrible on an iPad -- has to do w/the code running on their site. In the meantime, bookmark http://i.wund.com. I really wish they'd up the compatibility of their main site or at least build a redirect for iPad users so it goes to the site version that doesn't crash.

So far on iPad, it's the only site that's crashed Safari for me.

That's sad because I love the site and never had issues before 4.2. I use the mobile version on my iPhone and it's good but lacking a little. I'm glad other people have experienced it though.

I wonder if my crashes when other sites were up were because I may have had a wunderground window open on another tab.

Until this is fixed, I suggest using WunderMap for iPad (it's free) or, as someone else said, i.wund.com.
