Anybody else have troubles using command-option-d to look up a word in Safari? Every now and again, Safari will crash while attempting to use dictionary. Usually after it's open for a while, like >30 mins. I first noticed this issue with 10.4.5 and have reported it after every occurrence. Very irritating.

FYI, the keystroke is ctrl-cmd-D, at least for me (did I change it??).

I've never had any problems with it, and I'm running 10.4.6. It's one of the features about Tiger I really like.

Command+option+d hides the Dock, but I don't think there should be a relation between that and Safari crashing.

I don't use Safari's Dictionary that often, but I do remember it crashing Safari once within the last month.

Ooops. You're right. Command-control-d. Usually it works fine, but it crashes Safari a few times per week. Of course, I use it a lot. I just really like thesauruses.

That sucks. I use the Dictionary all the time and it doesn't crash Safari. Are there any hacks installed? Maybe try removing com.apple.Dictionary.plist to the Desktop. :)
