iPad Safari crashing a lot on iPad Air 2

Works fine on my Air 1. Have you tried doing the same using chrome or another browser?

Hmmm. Interestingly it doesn't crash in the Chrome browser. Maybe it's just an iOS 8.1 problem.

Nope. I can't remember Safari ever crashing on me. It's been rock solid since the day I started using iPad.

The Verge website crashes on my 1st gen Air running iOS 8.1. Not sure what the issue is with that site as I don't have problems with any other website crashing. And it only crashes using Safair. I can open the website fine in other browsers.

We're seeing a number of automated Javascript tests crashing Safari in iOS 8.1 here. I imagine there will be a patch in the near future.
