iPod touch Safari crashing very frequently

Lately, Safari has been crashing a lot. Whether its just fully charging it then trying to browse to just trying to open a web page. Does it have to do with it being jailbroken? I dont have that many apps installed.

Also, when I listen to music and try to browse, the music freezes.

This happened to me over Thanksgiving, I restored and rejailbroke and it seemed to work fine after that.
