Safari crashing when trying to use reading list

whenever I try to open a tab from reading list, safari beachballs and freezes. If I control click open in new tab it is fine.

When I try to save a page to my reading list same thing happens. Anyone else experiencing this?

2013 rMBP running Yosemite. Been running the beta for several months now with no issues.
