iPad Safari crashing whilst on Facebook ios6

Can anyone help me. My wife is currently sat next to me on her ipad 3 on ios6 trying to navigate Facebook on Safari. She has been there for an hour and Safari has crashed 5 times and will only do it on certain websites. When she opens Safari up she is logged out again. This has been going on for about 2 months now. Can someone please help as she keeps shouting at me as if its my fault. Dan

Have you tried clearing the Safari data (from settings)? What about trying another browser?

Also, turn off the iPad completely and turn it back on again.
