For some reason, in a distant time from now, the media controls in my Safari become to appear like this:

Does this change came from Apple or it is something I've installed?

Would be nice to have the old aqua style controls.

Thanks

Those are QuickTime controls, with which you can't control volume (only mute or not mute) unless you are in fullscreen. Do you have ClickToFlash installed as an Extension or separate add on in Safari?

Thanks, so they are from QuickTime. Yes, the missing volume controls are a pain

Yes, I have as a separated plugin. Do you think they are responsible for that?

Yes, if it is actually a Flash video and now the MP4 gets loaded. If you right click on the video, you can select to "Load Flash".

Mmm, the problem happens with HTML5 audio too. I uninstalled ClickToFlash and the controls still showing up.

I don't know why but I feel a little of Adobe's hand here.
