So Safari on my 5s randomly started using a darker theme? The frosted look on the URL bar up top and the nav bar across the bottom is now black as opposed to white.

I'm not complaining, just not sure how it happened? It changed in the middle of the day yesterday without me performing any type of software update. Could Apple be pushing updates to individual apps now?

You've set it as private. Click on the icon at the bottom right and you'll see that on the left "private" is selected. Click on "private" and it'll go back to normal.
