Safari date/time recognition like in Mail (for exporting purposes to iCal)

Is there some sort of plug-in that makes it possible for Safari to recognize time/date information on a website and export it to iCal? (as already supported in Mail)

This is an old thread, and still an old problem which I'd like to see a solution to as well. Surely now with Safari 5's capabilities with extensions there's something out there that can do this. Has anybody seen one?
